Carmela Hartman is a Wedding Planner, Travel Agent, Honeymoon Expert, Destination Wedding Specialist, and owner of In Style Weddings and Destinations. She is a Certified Wedding Coordinator and was professionally trained by: the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC), the American Express Travel School, Destination Wedding Specialist through Travel Agent University, StarwoodPro expert on Starwood Resorts and Hotels, Pueblo Bonito Expert. After changing careers in 1998, gaining years of experience in Sales and Travel as an Account Manager for a tour company in San Jose California focusing on Honeymoons and helping couples plan weddings, she now specializes in planning wedding packages locally in Texas as well as multiple exotic locales around the world and at her Clients' request. She has traveled all over the world including many US cities, Hawaii, Japan, Mexico, London, Amsterdam, France, Italy, Spain and Philippines. She is a certified "Destination Wedding Specialist" through the Travel Agent University, a unique distinction for event planners to be able to plan weddings worldwide. Her events have been featured in local newspapers such as the Austin Statesman, Austin Wedding Day Magazine and National publications like The Knot magazine. Her clients recognize her commitment, passion and eye for inspiring details that she brings to her events. She is known for her bubbly personality as well as focused on her clients needs. Carmela is also an experienced Event Coordinator, having supported many functions locally and internationally. |
